Welcome to Maury Volunteer Fire & Rescue website.  

Maury Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department is located in the Maury, NC. Organized in 1957, the Maury Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department was Greene County’s second rural fire department established. With a roster of twenty five active firefighters, the department operates five pieces of apparatus and responds to an average of 300 calls each year. We train regularly, constantly honing and learning new lifesaving skills as we work to provide the highest standard of professionalism in our community. We proudly serve by protecting life, property and the environment.
